Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Compensation Specialist to join a successful, multi-national organisation.

Working as part of an International team, you will act as the EMEA compensation specialist. This role will report into the VP of Compensation and Benefits based in the USA and as such you will need to be comfortable working across international time zones.

You will be responsible for working with the business to deliver and lead on all compensation matters across the EMEA region. Example projects include; the development, implementation and administration of global compensation programs as well as assisting in the research and development of special projects and recommendations on EMEA salary administration and other topical HR issues and initiatives.

The Compensation analyst will work with the business to improve job matching / survey submission data as well as running and evaluating market data . Manage and evaluate job roles and the impact of restructuring upon the division and business as a whole, using established processes as well as delivering education and training to key stakeholders to support the programme and provide compensation advice, guidance and consulting to business.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a global environment and possess a strong working knowledge of compensation principles, regulations and policies and ability to integrate with broader HR policies and objectives.

Previous project management experience is required for this role as is demonstrable experience preparing project plans, working to time lines and carrying out stakeholder analysis. A strong analytical ability is a key requirement as the role requires ability to perform data manipulation and interrogation of data sets to draw insight from the information.

The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communications skills , with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely including experience of delivering presentations / Q&A sessions. You will be well organized, detail-oriented and confident to work independently with demonstrated ability in process management, analysis and decision making.

You will need Advanced Excel skills (formulas, v-lookups, pivot tables) as well as having proficiency with Word, PowerPoint and experience with HRIS databases .
