An internal role supporting around 500 users as part of a team of 15 people, this 1st line support role focuses on customer service, effective support and incident resolution.
In a Microsoft Windows Server environment you will log initial contact with the service desk before either resolving the issue or assigning the incident to a more senior member of the team.
In addition you will carry out daily administrative tasks, maintain hardware elements and ensure daily backups complete on the servers assigned to you.
This role is paying a basic salary of £24,000 + pension, healthcare and a small annual bonus. This organisation can offer excellent career opportunities with promotions into the 2nd and the 3rd line teams, and project work across installation, configuration and the research of new systems.
