A sizable, not-for-profit organisation based in Surrey are looking for an experienced and capable Shared Services Director to join their growing team.
Working in a highly collaborative environment, you will work closely with the senior management team and the commercial department to deliver on the company's objectives and influence its future strategic plans. Your main responsibilities will include playing a key role in formulating the company's long term plans and managing a multi-skilled professional workforce to deliver a large programme of work on time, and within agreed budgets. You will also act as the lead manager and process owner for all HR functions across the business and will help develop services by implementing new efficient processes and will focus on building relationships with clients and employees alike.
With a budget of over £9million pounds to oversee, you will also be solely responsible for a collective team of approximately 160 people with 10 reporting directly in to you, so previous large scale managerial experience is an essential requirement for this position.
To be suitable for this role of significant responsibility you must have:
-Experience of successfully managing a large, high performing operational team.
-Experience of driving and delivering continuous improvement and change management with tangible results.
-An ability to build, sustain and grow relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
