A global and well recognised technology business, at the forefront of their field and on a continuous upward trajectory, is seeking a Global Pre-Sales Engineer to lead the global sales organisation and drive the business vision.
This is a rare opportunity to take a leading role in managing an experienced team of Pre-Sales Managers, to deliver quotes and maintain exceptional customer engagement through the delivery of bid and quote methodology. This will also remain parallel to the Portfolio and Services teams to define performance and put forward proposals to improve profitability. Your success will be measured through; compliance of bid and quotes, profitability and enabling the Global Delivery Blueprint.
Whilst remaining incredibly visible within the business, you will gain exposure to the senior management teams both in APAC and EMEA regions and have the opportunity to utilise; an impressive array of products and solutions, a world class team and acclaimed clients on a global scale.
You will consistently work with sales to enable the development of deal bids and close business successfully through customer engagement. Whilst acting as a product expert to advise on the clients requirements and recommend the relevant product/solution from the portfolio. Whilst maintaining excellent customer relationships and directing the teams, you will remain very hands on in overseeing the development of complex statements of work and active in proposing solutions.
It is fundamental that the successful candidate acts as a beacon to carry and deliver the culture of employee engagement, to drive motivation and ensure an efficient and overachieving team. You will be active in the hiring process of your team and be responsible for their growth and develop and aligning management to the relevant verticals.
Moreover you will assist offer management and sales in detailing solution concepts, designs and best practices to support in future opportunities and grow customer relationships. Finally you will report on growth and execution at regional service reviews.
This is a role which allows a collaborative approach, you will develop strong working relationships with everyone you meet and your success will allow you to become a confidant to senior leadership teams. You will also team with Sales and Management teams to drive bid and quote readiness for new solutions.
For this role, you will manage your own diary and spend the majority of your time either working from home or at customer meetings, as such you can be based anywhere in England. Although the role is UK based, the remit is global and works very closely with the senior stakeholder team in the US.
To flourish in this role the successful candidate will be a real go getter with plenty of motivation, the ability to lead and unite whilst having an excellent knowledge of their industry. It is essential that you have a experience with solutions sales and management of teams, with a foundation of demonstrable experience with mobile solutions and asset visibility for enterprise supply chain, retail, healthcare businesses on a global scale.
The starting salary for this role is £70,000 - £80,000 plus 15% annual bonus and a £600 pcm car allowance, with additional generous benefits package.
