Job Description

A successful professional services firm with a notable heritage is looking for a proven Events Co-ordinator to be based from their head office in the Grimsby area, Lincolnshire (commutable from other parts of the Midlands or Yorkshire). This is a fixed term contract for initially 3 months, with a good possibility of becoming a permanent role for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will report into the Senior Marketing Manager and be responsible for planning, organising and attending a wide range of marketing events from breakfast meetings / luncheons to large trade shows with numerous clients. Duties for this Events & Marketing Officer role will include scoping venues, attending planning meetings, producing and managing event budgets, planning promotional campaigns with the marketing team, managing the full event lifecycle to ensure delivery of events as well as undertaking post event reviews. As part of a small team this role will also include some general marketing duties too.

In order to be suitable for this position you must have experience working in an Events Co-ordinator, Events Executive, Events and Marketing Officer or similar role with proven experience of planning and delivering a variety of events from inception. The ideal candidate will also have proven experience working in a professional services environment, preferably in a practice, as well as exposure to general marketing duties such as email marketing.

This is a great opportunity to work in a desirable industry in an exciting marketing position. This Events & Marketing Officer is paying a maximum basic salary of £25,000 pro rata plus benefits including 5% matched pension and 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
