Job Description

A hugely successful global business, specialising in Financial Services, is seeking a hands-on Digital Architect to lead the adoption of innovative technologies and approaches to digital solutions.

As Digital Architect, you will analyse the success of customer digital solutions including; websites, applications and plugins to ensure the organisation remains at the forefront of digital solutions and lead the business through the deployment of new solutions on a portfolio of projects, whether they be websites, apps or plugins.

Whilst working collaboratively with the wider development team, to share ideas and best practices, you will analyse the business requirements and compile proof of concept solutions and document the systems architecture.

The ideal candidate will be highly technical, analytical and have a passion for software development. In addition to being a strong communicator and comfortable liaising with various stakeholders across the business. It is also essential they are happy to work in a hands-on capacity, demonstrating expertise configuring web servers and working with consideration of best performance, deployment strategies and security.

To secure this role, it is imperative that you have experience with the following:

- Designing high-performance customer-facing solutions.
- Experience of the full development lifecycle with a range of frameworks including; T-SQL, Java, Spring, REST and Angular
- Web configuration: Tomcat, Apache and AWS
- Database experience: MySQL, MariaDB

Experience with the additional would be considered highly advantageous:
- MongoDB, Sybase ASE and ETL experience
- Unit testing and deployment utilising Cucumber, Selenium and Jenkins.
