Join this fast growing successful business, on the brink of global expansion and take responsibility for data within the business, ensuring the relevant processes and governance are in place to guarantee this business wide.

This will be a fast paced and challenging role that will offer you the opportunity to be part of an exciting phase of growth for the business and to build a team under you moving forward. You will liaise with various departments across the business, including supply chain, logistics, purchasing, E-Commerce, Marketing, as well as IT.

This role would suit someone who is good at manipulating data, who has experience setting up processes and procedures around data in a business, who has a background in data management and is familiar with GDPR and other governance regulations.

As part of the role you will:
Implement a business wide data governance model covering best practises
Implement business wide data policies and procedures
Ensure data accuracy for ERP and business systems - root cause analysis, solutions, process adherence.
Set permissions and take responsibility for data entry into business systems
Mange new data and reporting requests and amendments
Create user guides for common ERP transactions and business processes
Ensure data compliance with industry and data regulations, such as GDPR.

To secure the role you must:
Have knowledge of data regulations, such as GDPR.
Be good at manipulating data
Be adept with Excel spreadsheets
Confident setting up processes and permissions with databases and ERP systems
Be committed to preserving the integrity of a business's data and have an excellent understanding of business and finance processes.

The ideal person will be process driven, data centric and analytical, with a strong attention to detail and pragmatic approach to problem-solving. Knowledge or experience of relational databases would also be advantageous. Any experience of Netsuite would also be particularly advantageous, but not essential to securing the role. Training on NetSuite will be given.
