Job Description

The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a financial services software house to find a Finance Business Analyst to join their growing team. It is essential that you have clear and demonstrable experience of contributing to project planning and have worked to ISO standards.

The Business Analyst role will focus on the delivery of software solutions to banking sector clients across the UK, so travel and occasional overnight stays are expected.

Solid experience of working with UK mortgage and loan products is essential to be considered. Your interpersonal skills are as important as your Business Analysis skills and you will need to be personable and charismatic in front of clients, whilst being pragmatic and incisive at the same time.

Excellent documentation skills are critical to succeed in this role as is attention to detail and business process analysis.

To be considered you require the below skills and experience:

- Finance sector experience particularly with UK mortgage and loan products
- Establish strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Produce and maintain project planning documentation
- Collate and analyse business requirements
- Develop specifications and functional and non-functional requirements
- Analyse information to provide recommendations and communicate these effectively
- Contribute to system design reviews, workflows and client sign-off on proposals
- Document use case and user stories
- Support PM's to ensure risks and issues are identified and managed

My client is flexible and can accommodate both less experienced Business Analysts looking to move up and also more experienced candidates with substantial experience to offer already. The salary range on offer of £30-50,000 per annum reflects this.
