Job Description

A prestigious financial organisation, with offices in Sutton, are looking for an additional BI Developer to join their team, working across the Microsoft BI Stack and Oracle PL/SQL.

The individual will develop reports and BI solutions.
Queries will run on an Oracle database and SQL Server backend, using SSRS for report development.
For finance related reports they are developed in SSRS and Access and you may also be involved in migrating legacy reports to SQL based ones.
In addition, you might also be involved in data extraction, database solutions, ETL solutions, OLAP cubes and creating dashboards as art of your role.

To secure this role you will ideally have experience gained working within financial services or had experience delivering BI solutions to a finance department. You will be a driven individual, with a passion for technology, a natural problem solver, who can analyse, extract and manipulate data to produce the desired output.

You must have strong experience of:
SQL Development
MS SQL Server and Oracle PL/SQL
BI Stack - SSRS, SSIS and SSAS
Analysing, understanding and manipulating data
You should also have experience of:
Working within the financial services sector
End user financial report development
MS Access

Data warehousing experience, ETL tools or experience with regulatory reporting would all be considered advantageous. As would any knowledge of .NET and C#.
