The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a leading international chemicals and pharmaceuticals business with sites throughout the UK to assist them in their search for an Application Support Specialist focusing on the Qlik tool suite. The role will focus on championing the Qlik product range within the business to ensure most effective usage and will demand a comprehensive understanding of Qlik products and their application within the reporting arena.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience with Qlik products already and will be accustomed to designing and developing dashboards to help users derive maximum benefit. You will need to be at home scripting and managing the Qlik server environment too. Prior experience with SAP or another enterprise scale resource planning system would be highly advantageous, although this is not essential.
Most importantly, you will have excellent communication skills and an engaging and analytical manner, being quickly able to identify issues or needs in discussion with users and deliver optimised solutions.
