Job Description

Join an established software house delivering enterprise solutions for a range of large businesses. Due to continued growth across the business the support team is also seeing expansion and an additional Application Support Analyst is required.

Day to day you will support the clients as well as be involved with project deployment, client training, client upgrades and installations. As it is a client facing role you must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, as well as verbal and written English.

There is also an on-call rota, which rotates on a weekly basis between the team. The probability of receiving a call is low, but remuneration for being on this rota is very attractive.

You should have experience in a similar role supporting bespoke applications and be willing and confident to do the same here. You will use this experience to gain working expertise across the application and how it interacts with 3rd party applications, becoming familiar with the application's underlying data structures and looking at how to identify and resolve data related and application related problems, alongside more straight forward 1st line issues.

To secure the role you must have:
Experience of software support
Experience of bespoke applications
Experience of SQL
Networking experience and understanding of 3-tier architecture
Understanding of API's and Web Services support
Good scripting skills and understanding of Microsoft Windows

Any experience working with Citrix, remote servers or Service Desk tools such as Jira / Service Now, would be considered advantageous.

In return for your commitment to this role and the business, you receive a competitive salary of up to £35,000 plus additional generous on call, bonus, private healthcare, mentorship programme and pension.
