Job Description

An opportunity has arisen within a national organisation as they are looking to bolster their IT team. They are looking for a Senior IT Support contractor to support and maintain Windows servers and networks across a multi-site environment.

Working alongside another 3rd Line Support Technician as well as the wider desktop support team, the role holder will provide 3rd line infrastructure/server support and be a key member of the IT Support Team for a 6 month period (this may be extended).

**You'll be part of the team supporting all IT systems with a particular focus on Windows Server and Exchange 2010. You must have evidence of project delivery and implementations on the CV.**

The candidate must have the following skills up to 3rd line level:

*Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012 R2
*Landesk experience
*Demonstrable experience of supporting IT projects
*Previous experience of Exchange 2010 administration
*PC/Hardware Troubleshooting
*Operating Systems: Windows XP/7/8/10
*MS Office 2010
*Exchange 2010
*Strong knowledge of Active Directory
*Knowledge of DHCP, WINS, DNS
*Network Security Fundamentals
*Telecoms Support

Working hours will be based on a rota that covers Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5:30pm. Candidates should expect to work up to 37.5 hours over five days between Monday and Friday plus provide on call support one Weekend in Four. A full driving licence is also essential.

Naturally excellent communication, teamwork and customer service skills will be crucial in this role.
