1st Line Support Engineer - Godalming, Surrey - training opportunities

The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a Managed Service Provider to assist them in their search for a 1st Line Support Engineer to join a growing technical support team. The role will focus on provision of 1st Line support and triage services to the company's corporate client base and will primarily involve support of users in Microsoft environments.

The successful candidate will ideally have prior experience working in a service desk or helpdesk environment and should be conversant with Windows desktop technologies (Windows 7 / Windows 10). Good user administration skills using Active Directory is required and it would be highly beneficial if you had some experience with Windows Server technology. Strong MS Office and / or Office 365 support skills are also expected and you should be comfortable diagnosing and troubleshooting basic networking issues.
