Job Description

Estimated 8-10 week contract role within a well-respected educational provider.

A driving license and your own transport is essential.

In this role, as an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing support for a wide range of technologies. This requires an individual with a good working knowledge of Windows based systems, experience of maintaining hardware and peripherals, exposure to networking including intelligent switching and wireless access points and excellent general IT support skills.

Whilst this is a 37.5 hour week, depending on the IT projects and staffing the earliest start of any day is likely to be around 8am and the latest finish around 6pm; please ensure you can work within these hours.

In order to be suitable for this role experience with all or most of the below is required:

* Windows based systems
* Windows 7, Internet Explorer, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Active Directory
* Hardware maintenance
* Networking and network cabling
* Virtualised server environment (VMware)
* Apple based systems

It would strongly support your application if you had experience with the support and maintenance of printers, digital projectors, interactive white boards and telephones along with any scripting experience with KIX, Batch or VBS.
