Supplier Contracts Manager – London and Homeworking - up to£400 per day - 6 month contract

The Ashdown Group has been approached by a respected membership body that requires an experienced Supplier Contracts and Procurement manager on an interim basis. This is a contract for a period of 6 months paying up to £400p/d inside IR35.

This is an urgent contract and the client needs the successful candidate to start w/c 6th June.

Reporting into the Director of Programmes, you will be responsible for managing a small contracts team. This is a hands on role and you will be responsible for setting up Tenders, negotiating contracts, analysing vendor contracts and supplier agreements.

 

Key responsibilities will include

Managing a small contracts and procurement team

Review all existing vendor and supplier contracts, - especially Technology services

Monitor supplier performance and ensure contractual obligations are met

Act as the primary point of contact with suppliers of the technology devices

Produce plans and estimate budgets and timescales

Analyse data and produce reports and statistics on spending and savings

Lead with tenders and commercial bids 

Liaise with  the clients and the supplier’s technical, financial, and legal teams

Identify areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results

You will be expected to bring visibility, structure, control and best practise to bear in how the organisation manages vendors, assets and data through commercial arrangements and the contract life-cycle. You will need to be able to analyse data contracts content and articulate the meaning of terms and conditions to an array of audiences.

 The client operate a hybrid working pattern of  alternating  2 and 3 days per week in the office and days at home. Its offered on an initial 6 month contract and is inside IR35 paying up to £400p/d
