They recognise that when people come together, they can achieve great things and they use their passion and unique influence to make a lasting difference on the issues that matter most to society. The Earthshot Prize is a not-for-profit start-up which currently sits within The Royal Foundation and will spin out to become an affiliated independent organisation in 2022.

The Earthshot Prize is committed to building a diverse team that is representative of all sections of society and to sustaining a culture that celebrates difference, encourages authenticity, and creates a deep sense of belonging. They recognise that by encouraging innovative and creative ways of thinking and fostering an inclusive culture they will collaborate more effectively and achieve better outcomes.

The Earthshot Prize is the most ambitious and prestigious global environment prize in history, designed to incentivise change and help repair our planet over the next ten years. The Prize’s mission is to unleash urgent optimism and action through storytelling and spotlighting eco-innovators around the world.

Each annual cohort of The Earthshot Prize finalists and winners are among the brightest hopes from around the world for restoring the planet’s health for the benefit of people and nature. Finalists include for-profit, social enterprise, not-for-profit and government-led solutions. TEP’s aim is to mobilise the greatest support possible – financial and strategic – to help these incredible eco-innovators scale their solutions to the point of having a global impact on environmental issues.

In order to deliver this vision, The Earthshot Prize (TEP) is now seeking an innovative Strategic Growth Manager to play a lead role in organising targeted support to help accelerate finalists and winners efforts to reach scale. You will work directly with a portfolio of eco-innovators to understand and shape their growth plans and seek opportunities to leverage The Earthshot Prize’s network of relationships to make those plans a reality.

In this role you will connect finalists with corporate partners, investors, and experts, helping them to rapidly scale. You will document their strategies and provide insights on the key challenges and opportunities associated with their business models. Your deep understanding of each finalist will enable you to identify appropriate partners and facilitate knowledge sharing between finalists – creating a thriving community and fully leveraging the support and resources of TEP and its network.

The Strategic Growth Manager will support the creation of workshops, networking events, playbooks, and other assets that can help our portfolio of eco-innovators take advantage of growth opportunities. Additionally, the Strategic Growth Manager will cultivate a network of relationships with corporates, investors, and funders who could be instrumental in helping our eco-innovators grow. You will also establish a year-round calendar of activity and reporting that keeps all stakeholders informed and involved in supporting the finalists.
To be suitable for this outstanding opportunity you must have a passion for accelerating the impact of environmental solutions that will repair and regenerate our planet. You will entrepreneurial with an ability to “connect the dots”, knowing that every year, our cohorts will have different needs, and much of what we will be doing will be white space and require innovation, systems thinking and creative problem solving.
You will have experience in an innovation team, corporate/business development team, incubator/ accelerator, Venture Firm, or a start-up, supporting growth with strategic and entrepreneurial acumen. Creating new processes, adapting your thinking, evolving and being agile is second nature, and you will be an excellent communicator, with high EQ, appreciating that eco-innovators rely on your support in a fast paced, sometimes ambiguous world.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a purpose driven and inspirational Strategic Growth Manager, who exemplifies the values of transparency, collaboration, inclusion, curiosity, and kindness, to make a significant contribution to the growth and development of a truly inspiring charity with a transformative global vision.
