A well-established organisation based in Kettering are looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to join the team on an initial 9 month contract. 

Please note – this role offers hybrid working with a mix of home and in the office working and can be worked on a full-time or part time basis (minimum of 3 days).

As the Senior HR Business Partner, you will help to embed the new People Business Partner structure and strategy, acting as a coach and mentor to newly appointed colleagues, helping with complex casework and ensuring that the People Strategy projects are completed and reported back to the Executive team. 

Your key responsibilities as Senior HR Business Partner will include supporting the COO with policy development, consultation and implementation and provide advice and guidance to stakeholders on all aspects of people management reflecting best practise. You will be the point of escalation for complex employee relations cases and will demonstrate a clear understanding of current UK employment law to support Senior Leaders. You will develop people plans, including writing, developing and evaluating people management training and development. You will also be involved in providing data, KPIs, reports and analysis in relation to HR matters for stakeholders, keeping abreast of changing legislation and statutory requirements and taking responsibility for ensuring that diversity, inclusion and wellbeing are key components of high-quality processes throughout the employee lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and time-management skills with experience working in a similar Senior HR Business Partner or Head of People role, ideally within the education sector. You will be CIPD qualified with a real passion for people and enhancing workplace cultures.  

The salary on offer is up to £55,000 per annum, pro rata
