Senior Business Analyst / Business Process - Insurance
 
*Initial 12 month fixed term contract with plan to go permanent in 2024. Salary up to £100,000 based on experience plus bonus (up to 20%), travel allowance, 10% pension and other benefits. The company operate a flexible working policy with the expectation of ideally going into either the Birmingham or London office a couple of days a week.*
 
Please note you will need to have strong experience within the London or company market insurance industry to be considered.
 
A leading insurance company is looking for a Business Change Architect to support the global modernisation of the company. The role will be suited to a Senior Business Analyst / Business Process Analyst who has a strong insurance background.
Duties will include:
- Supporting the implementation of target architecture and models 
- Document and maintain business architecture
- Collaborate effectively with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure the target state architecture is understood
- Work with operations and underwriting teams on the principles of target architecture, exploiting best practice capabilities and distribution channels 
- Design solutions to complex business solutions
- Develop a strong understanding of the products and their distribution (including cost/expense ratios)
- Support with identifying opportunities to improve effectiveness and operational efficiency
 
To be considered for this Business Architect/Senior Business Analyst role you must have the following skills and experience:
- London markets/company markets insurance experience (essential)
- Good knowledge of underwriting and reinsurance
- Strong experience of business or enterprise architecture
- Good understanding of business models, Value Chains, Value Streams and Business Capabilities
- Ability to review processes and determine scope for improvements
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
-  Process/project management experience
- Experience of writing and implementing guideline and setting performance measures
