Senior Bid Manager
The UK's leader in innovation acceleration for our cities and transport systems is looking for a Senior Bid Manager to play a key role in leadership for the organisation. This role is based in Central London and is accountable for the management and delivery of all commercial and collaborative bids and proposals. The role requires extensive engagement across all functions and levels including C-Suite employees. The successful candidate will have significant experience of leading complex bids/proposal functions.
The main responsibilities of the role include; leading and developing the bid team by embedding a culture of continuous improvement and collaborative work, management of all aspects of bids and proposal development, quality assure proposals, close work with the PMO and Project management function to deliver an effective mobilisation of successful submissions.
You will also be responsible for identifying and introducing enhancements to the function, informing the business on the bid process and calendar whilst being the main point of contact for all bid related queries.
Demonstrable experience of leading, delivering and winning complex bids.
Proven ability of leading, delivering and winning commercial contracts.
Experience of working with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to coach, manage and develop people and a team.
This role is hybrid offering 3 days a week working from home.
