The General Sales Manager will be responsible for the overall sales performance of the company and the day-to-day management of the sales department.
Key responsibilities will include devising and reviewing sales budgets, reporting and presenting performance budgets, updating sales forecasts and producing monthly reports. Working with other sales heads to develop plans for growing market share, setting targets and action plans. Ensuring the smooth running of the sales process and identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets. Developing relationships with new and existing clients, conducting site visits and representing the company at business conferences, trade fairs and networking events.
The ideal candidate will hold a chemistry degree, have a good knowledge of organic chemistry and the industry and an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP B1. You will be results driven and enjoy building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The salary on offer for this role is up to £45,000 per annum plus an annual bonus of up to £15,000, great benefits including bi-annual bonuses, enhanced pension and contributions towards training and personal development.
