16 month Fixed Term Contract, Milton Keynes - £62,000 

An opening for a Project Accountant who will take on the title of Finance Business Partner has become available within the one of the UKs largest Innovation Accelerators. The company are looking for a Qualified Accountant to lead on financial analysis and commentary on their project portfolio. The role will involve liaising, integrating and partnering cross-functionally and is a pivotal role suiting someone with strong commercial acumen and attention to detail. 

Key responsibilities include; reporting and analysis of the project portfolio and partnering with the Project Managers on large complex projects. You will be the Senior Finance contact for key accounts and be responsible for reporting performance on these projects. 

You will also be expected to prepare project budgets and drive commercial and collaborative revenue forecasting and cost management and month end project journals, as required. There is an additional requirement to have worked with R&D Tax Credit coordination and liaison with the third party agent.

Skills needed: 

- Qualified in ACCA/ACA/CIMA

- Previous experience within a similar role. 

- Very strong Excel skills

- Experience working with an ERP system

- The ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
