IT Project Delivery Manager  - Surbiton, Surrey - £100,000

A highly successful global business, operating in over 30 offices across the globe have an exciting opportunity for a senior Project Manager or Programme Manager -  someone who is passionate about making a difference to join their IT department as a Project Delivery Manager.

This role would suit an experienced, personable and effective senior Project Manager or Project Delivery Manager that has proven experience of working with multiple stakeholders to identify, procure, implement and integrate systems. 

As the Senior Project Manager you will manage a multi-function project delivery team consisting of Project Managers, BA’s & Testers to ensure projects are delivered to a high-quality, on time and within budget.  You will manage, coach and develop team technically and professionally, creating a clear pathway for progression – including carrying out regular 1-1s, appraisals and performance management. 

Your primary focus will be working to implement project and programme management processes including scope management, planning, change control, quality control and cost management as well as managing relationships with third party suppliers.  Working with other IT leadership team members you will ensure processes support the effective transition of projects into and through delivery phases and contribute to the future direction of the large estate of primarily bespoke systems through the Systems Strategy and system roadmaps.

The ideal candidate for this role will have solid project management experience and will have worked closely with 3rd party software development providers, off the shelf software providers, software as a service (SAAS) providers and internal developers.  You will be a strong leader and will genuinely enjoy coaching, managing and supporting more junior team members.  You will have a good understanding of software development processes and delivering exceptional software solutions.

The salary on offer for this role is £80,000 - £100,000 (depending on experience) plus benefits.
