A holistic not-for-profit organisation based south of Manchester is seeking a strategic, operational, and personable HR Director to join their expanding team on a permanent basis. This is an organisation that is extremely passionate about people and prides itself on its duty of care for others. You are required to be onsite 5 days a week for this role.
Reporting to and working closely with the CEO - who was previously the Head of HR - you will be responsible for all matters relating to recruitment and the recruitment strategy, employee relations matters, employee engagement, and retention, learning and development programs, as well as taking the lead in liaising with external agencies, professional bodies, and stakeholders.
You will be instrumental in developing and implementing the company HR manual and further developing HR strategies, whilst also working very closely with the senior leadership team and board members. You will be responsible for managing a small HR team of 4 people, guiding and supporting them where necessary. You will also be instrumental in looking at structured ways of upskilling team members and carrying out succession planning.
To be considered, you must have proven senior HR management experience, have worked with ER cases all the way up to tribunals, have learning and development experience, have been involved with succession planning, and have proven strategic experience within HR also.
