HR Advisor

A multi-award-winning Top 100 law firm is seeking an HR Assistant/HR Advisor with good experience in/knowledge of employment law to join them as an Employment Law Solicitor Trainee, to initially support their qualified Employment Lawyers with cases, with a view to becoming a qualified Employment Lawyer themselves after a 3 year period.

The role is paying up to £39,000 plus a bonus that equates to 12.5%, and offers hybrid working (typically 3 days in the office in central London). The firm offers the opportunity to progress quickly and will provide sponsorship for qualification.

The firm is keen to consider HR professionals with a good understanding of Employment law keen to make a career change in to the legal profession. The work will be extremely varied, focusing on assisting Senior Lawyers and Partners with large and complex employment matters, especially contentious cases and involve high levels of direct client contact and supportive work in court. This role sits in a team of other paralegals and trainees and some home working by prior agreement is permitted, subject to the needs of the client.


You will have excellent academics (possibly with a law degree, a CIPD qualification as well as excellent A Levels), be tenacious and a self-starter and been working in employment law within the legal sector or in an Employee Relation/Employment Law focused HR role for at least two years, preferably within a commercial sector in London. This role will be a gateway to qualifying as an employment lawyer with a top rated firm.
