Financial Controller – Hybrid Working
A well-established law firm is looking for an accomplished Financial Controller to join its leadership team based in Essex. This role is open to both full-time and part-time candidates. As a business that embraces flexibility, there will be the opportunity to work from home up to 3 days per week. With offices in Chelmsford and Colchester, you will be required to commute to both locations from time to time.
In order to be suitable for this role you must be an experienced finance professional, ideally with experience in the legal or professional services sector. You will be a fully qualified Accountant, either ACA, ACCA or CIMA, with proven experience of taking responsibility for the Management Accounting function.
In this role you will work very closely with the Director of Finance to oversee accounting operations. You will manage a small finance team and work to implement and develop new accounting systems and processes to support the firm. As a tech savvy first class communicator you will have the ability to share information clearly and report on progress in a user-friendly way using appropriate dashboards and tools (Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint etc.). You will be an innovative thinker who will partner with the wider firm to take lead on the continual development of the legal accounting system.
