DevOps Engineer - £75,000 – Hybrid        

 

A highly successful and rapidly growing organisation are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their development and engineering team.  This is a brilliant opportunity to join an established, agile team in a newly created role.

 

As the DevOps Engineer you will work closely with product delivery, bringing them closer to the operational teams’ world by deploying, administering, monitoring and improving their services, using standard operational process capabilities including high-system availability, on-demand scalable solutions, logging, monitoring and upgrades.   You will have experience of CI/CD tooling, test automation, Infrastructure as Code, and working on Linux and Windows operating systems with relevant scripting languages in both hypervisor based co-lo and cloud environments.

 

Working closely with Development, Security and Operations teams you will work to improve the end-to-end for multi-tier web application solutions.  You will support the suite of tooling including source code control, package management, continuous integration, deployment, load-balancing, test automation, infrastructure provisioning and configuration.

 

The ideal candidate will have previous experienced in a DevOps role; demonstrating expertise with architecting, managing, deploying, operating, monitoring and logging production infrastructure across co-located and cloud environments.

 

Experience across any of the following technologies would be beneficial:

 

Windows & Linux OS

Bash, Powershell, JavaScript, Python, C# scripting

Terraform, ARM Templates IaC

MS SQL, ORACLE, MySQL & PostgreSQL databases

Docker & Kubernetes containerisation

Azure & VMWare based private clouds

 

The salary on offer for this role is up to £75,000 plus bonus and benefits.
