The UK's leader in innovation acceleration for our cities and transport systems is looking for a Bid Manager to play a key role in leadership for the organisation. This role is based in their Central London or Milton Keynes office and is accountable for the management and delivery of all commercial and collaborative bids and proposals.
The main responsibilities of the role include; development and coordination of all bids and proposals whilst collaborating cross-functionally, understand clients needs and create solutions, build strong relationships with partner organisations and stakeholders and help develop and roll out bid development best practice.
You will also be responsible for ensuring smooth management of the entire bid process, reviewing and re-drafting bid content to ensure consistency, handle multiple bids at a time with competing deadlines and lead external and internal resource to ensure high quality and commercially viable bids are developed.
Demonstrable experience of leading, delivering and winning large bids and proposals with commercial clients and/or funding bodies i.e. Innovate UK and Horizon 2020.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and with external partners, alongside strong stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to coach, manage and develop people and a team.
This role is hybrid offering 3 days a week working from home.
