PHH makes IT recruitment move

PHH Corporation has appointed Jeff Bell as its new senior vice-president and chief information officer.
The vehicle fleet management firm has made the IT recruitment move to help improve operational efficiency and prepare for company growth.
Mr Bell will report directly to chief executive and president Jerry Selitto in his new role.
He has worked in IT for more than 15 years across a number of platforms, and was previously the vice-president of eCommerce within Countrywide's Consumer Markets Division.
In addition, Mr Bell has held senior management roles with AndersonBell Partners, Kaleidico, LLC and DeepGreen Bank.
He commented: "Jerry and I have a strong working relationship after serving at DeepGreen together for five years. I am looking forward to working with him again to drive PHH's growth and enhance its profitability."
Last week, IDC claimed that IT innovation is moving up the business agenda this year after the UK exited recession.
