Outlook improving for IT contractors

Many skilled IT contractors could be set to leave their client organisations over the coming weeks and months, it has been suggested.
According to Contractor UK, the resurgence in the UK economy is creating more lucrative IT recruitment opportunities for the most talented freelancers.
The website has reported that pay expectations are rising as more employers prepare to conduct contractor recruitment, and this is leading more professionals to consider finding new placements.
With IT investment now high on many businesses' and organisations' agendas, Contractor UK reports that they are looking to hire quickly to support their objectives, with freelancers the principle beneficiary.
"The recovering pay rates in Britain's computer jobs market could leave client organisations in the lurch, as contract IT staff look set to 'jump ship' for more money," the website said.
Last month, the Recruitment and Employment Confederation reported there had been an increase in the availability of IT and technology jobs.
