Marketers urged to tap into YouTube potential

Marketing professionals can target a wide range of consumers by uploading content onto YouTube, it has been claimed.
According to industry commentator Leon Hill, the site is the premier video content website on the internet, and as a result, "a powerful place" to advertise products and services.
Writing for Official Wire, he commented that the depth and breadth of the site means marketers can upload content on practically any topic and still find an audience.
"It doesn't matter whether you are looking up videos purely for entertainment, for information or for reference, the fact of the matter is that tens of millions of people frequent YouTube as their go-to sources for video content," he added.
As a result, the possibilities are "mind-boggling" for marketing professionals, he claimed.
Last week, David Brennan, research and strategy director at Thinkbox, told UTalkMarketing that marketers can benefit by integrating online and video advertising materials.
