KPMG has appointed a new global head of people, performance and culture as looks to remain an attractive place for accountancy jobs.
Rachael Campbell, who is currently head of people at KPMG Europe, will take on the role.
She has spent the last four years working on the company's Employer of Choice strategy in the UK and will now help to implement the scheme across the world.
John Harrison, deputy chairman of KPMG International, explained that this experience will help ensure the firm continues to offer attractive accountancy jobs.
He said: "That perspective will be a valuable asset as she collaborates with member firms around the world to ensure KPMG remains a great place to work and build a career."
Ms Campbell, who will retain her current role, also joins KPMG's global executive team.
Recently, KPMG's rival Tenon revealed that it would be strengthening its recovery services arm as a response to the economic downturn, a move which could create new accountancy jobs.
