Windows Administrator

A seasoned Windows Administrator is sought by a small but very successful Professional Services Company based close to Heathrow.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1^st, 2nd and 3rd line support to a range of internal staff that are both office and field based. You will also provide hardware support and advice to end-users on software and hardware related incidents and issues. Liaising with the Global IT Team to ensure an outstanding level of customer service you will provide for IT support for a globally based user community up to 140 employees.

Previous experience of working in a sole IT Support role, preferably with experience of being remotely managed is desirable.

In order to be suitable for this opportunity you MUST have experience of dealing with anything from very basic first line issues, to more complex desktop support and server support tasks.

Technical skills must include an excellent working knowledge of Windows Server 2000/2008, Active Directory, Windows XP/7, MS SQL Server and Office 365/MS Office are essential. Any knowledge and experience of working with Networking (including Nokia Checkpoint), F5 VPN and SharePoint would be advantageous.

You must have exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to interface with internal customers (technical and non-technical) as well as technical representatives, some of whom may not speak English as a first language.

From time to time you would be required to visit UK and Worldwide based sites to carry out essential maintenance of IT systems. This may require overnight stays, therefore a full clean European driving license and current EU passport are required.
