  • Our client; a highly successful, niche network & Connectivity provider with a client base that includes many household names is seeking a bright & talented Web Developer to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a strong, friendly technical team with a flexible approach to their work.

    In order to be suitable for this role you will be expected to have strong Linux experience including OS and its workings & permissions. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of web development technologies and be well-versed in software development processes, especially RAD.  You should also be familiar with XMl, HTML, JavaScript, CSS & a LAMP environment. 

    The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a wide array of projects written in Perl (CGI), Shell and HTML. Excellent communication skills, both written & spoken are essential for this position as you will be required to communicate ideas with both technical & non-technical employees & customers.

    An understating of database design & query language syntax, advanced SQL skills or other development technologies PHP, Java etc  would be of an interest although not essential. 

    It would strongly support your application if you could produce examples of your work i.e. portfolio, links to sites and/or screen shots.

    • Located just outside of Central Manchester
    •     Car parking facilities are available nearby
    • Salary between £20,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
