  • A well-known not for profit organisation has engaged the Ashdown Group to find a creative mid-level Web Developer to join their team. This is an 18 month fixed term contract working on a major project to redevelop the main website; it offers the chance to contribute to something significant while rapidly learning new skills.

    From the production of wireframes to developing/coding the back-end of sites the successful candidate will work on all aspects of web development. The projects you will work on will often be high traffic sites accessed by large numbers of users and requiring complex functionality.

    Along with an understanding of cross browser compatibility, W3C and WAI standards and web development technologies like HTML, CSS and JavaScript it is also essential that you have experience with PHP and MySQL database design and creation.

    Although not essential it would strongly support your application should you have any Drupal experience.

    It would suit an individual with solid commercial experience – possibly gained while freelancing or contracting – but definitely able to commit to a company for the full 18 month FTC.

    You will need to provide examples to support your application, so please ensure you have URL links, and/or screen shots that you can easily provide.
