  • A successful professional services company based in Cardiff, is seeking a Web Developer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with solid .Net development experience looking to join an established and well respected company with a strong development function.

    You will need to be a technology enthusiast and part of your role will include researching new technologies and methodologies that may be of benefit to the team.
    This position involves the design, development and implementation of web based software solutions and then providing their ongoing support and maintenance. The development will include the both new bespoke developments and also migrations from legacy systems. The successful candidate will also have responsibility for helping to establish good practice within the team.

    This role requires an individual who has solid skills and experience with most or all of the following: IIS5 or IIS6, C#, ASP.Net, Webservices, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, DHTML, AJAX, Visual Studio 2005, Adobe Suite of products.

    Any experience with T-SQL, SQL Server Management Studio 2005, Visual Source Safe 2005, XML – including schemas and transformations, VB.Net, VBA and COM would be of benefit but are certainly not essential.
