  • A very successful nationwide media company is seeking to employ an enthusiastic and experienced developer to join their expanding team to support and develop business critical applications. This role is based in Bournemouth, and is offering a salary of up to £32,000 per annum.

    Joining a team of 8, this role will help maintain and develop current business critical processes and develop internal based systems using ASP / VB.Net and C#. Strong data transformation and manipulation skills are required to manage the large amount of data received which is to be imported onto their system using PHP and Perl.

    My Client is seeking an innovative and enthusiastic developer to bring new ideas and make a real impact to their business. Full development life cycle experience is highly sought after, in particular FTP and XML.

    Key skills required;

    •    Strong data transformation and manipulation skills
    •    C#, VB.NET and .NET Framework 2.0 or above
    •    ASP.NET 2.0 or above
    •    SQL Server 2005 – using Stored Procedures, creating scripts for schema changes
    •    Perl (Active State Perl, DBI)
    •    PHP Scripting
    •    Crystal Reports
    •    Knowledge of FTP and XML
    •    Server administration (Windows Server 2008, IIS, etc)
    •    Experience of full development life cycle
