  • A leading interactive web development company based in the West End, is seeking a talented and creative web designer to join their team on an initial 6 week contract, due to an increased workload.

    You will be responsible for the full design of a web skin - tailored for their white label product for a new customer - written using HTML and CSS. You will begin by producing mock-ups in Photoshop based on the clients brand identity. You will then develop the skin using XHTML and CSS. You may need to do some basic work with MySQL to ensure a clean integration with the backend.

    Your secondary responsibilities will include the redesign of key pages for some existing customers and the A/B testing of different page layouts using Google Web Optimiser. You will need to assist will a number of HTML emails and you might become involved in some skin work for mobile optimised versions of a website.

    To be suitable for this Front End coding role you will need high end skills in HTML, XHTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS2, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and some Flash. Everything created will need to meet WC3 web standards.
