  • A successful international software and services company is seeking a Web Application Developer to work within their IT team.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the applications which support the company’s core software and commercial businesses across the global infrastructure. This will include the on-going maintenance of various group web presences, customer and partner portals, as well as internal support systems.

    To be considered for this position you will need to have demonstrable experience developing ASP and ASP.Net web applications.

    Experience of the below technologies is a requirement to be considered for this role:

    • ASP & ASP.Net
    • C#
    • VB & VB.Net
    • SQL Server
    • Windows client & server environments
    • Cross-platform application integration

    Experience across the full software development lifecycle is essential as the successful candidate will be given ‘end-to-end’ responsibility for new internal systems and components that promote the smooth operation of the business. This could include development of new software applications, and also developing business functions associated with the internet, extranet and intranet.

    Whilst not essential it would benefit your application if you had experience with the following technologies:

    • UNIX / Linux
    • UI Development
    • LDAP / Active Directory integration
    • Installing and maintaining IIS environments

    Please be aware that you will need to drive and have your own car as there are no public transport links to their site.

    • Offering a basic salary of £40-45,000 per annum plus benefits including pension, healthcare and life assurance
