To be considered for this role it is essential that you have solid experience working within an Enterprise scale environment and with high availability systems.
It would strongly support your application if this experience was gained within a Trading house, investment bank or leading software provider.
This role is a unique opportunity to join an extremely well known and successful commodities trading company in Central London. Their talented IT team is continuing to grow hence the opportunity for an individual with strong voice technology skills.
In addition to the technical skills the position has a strategic and planning element. Working alongside the Design Authority, advancements and enhancements must be identified, capacity must be planned and change control must be implemented.
The role will focus on the installation, configuration and maintenance of the BT ITS Trading System, NICE Voice Recording System and CUCM (Cisco Unified Communications Manager) System. It includes the monitoring of the above technologies and supporting the connectivity to the estate of third party infrastructure.
At interview you will be asked to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of best practice with; call routing various codec, signalling protocol, transport signalling.
You will also need to be able to demonstrate good experience with all or most of the following:- SIP, SCCP, RTP, H.323, G.711, G.729
- QoS
- call admission control and security
- TDM voice protocols such as QSIG, E1 and T1
- BT ITS Trading System
- CUCM (Cisco Unified Communications Manager) – minimum vs 7
You will also be required to understand relationships with peripheral platforms that integrate with the above such as NICE Perform version 3.1, Cisco Unity and Cisco Presence among other technologies.
