  • A large and successful services company in Lancashire has an opportunity for an Analyst Programmer with strong VB.Net skills to join their IT Team.

    The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for developing and supporting the company’s systems and software and will be responsible for working throughout the full lifecycle. Another element to the role will be to manage system integrations with multiple 3rd party applications.

    It is essential that the successful candidate has had experience of working on multiple development projects, can easily understand a user’s requirements for system and software and has the ability to translate these into robust solutions.

    The successful candidate will need to be a good communicator, reliable and looking for a long term opportunity with career progression options in the future.

    In order to be suitable for this role you must have demonstrable experience developing Winforms in VB.Net and solid skills with SQL Server - including T-SQL, queries, stored procedures and triggers.

    It is not essential but would strongly support your application if you had experience developing Webforms, had VB6 experience and Crystal Reports (or similar).
    • Offering a basic salary of up to £30,000
