  • My client is in urgent need of an experienced Solaris & Red Hat Administrator to join their Yorkshire based dedicated UNIX team. My client is a long established and leading organisation who can offer exceptional career progression, stability and training.

    To be suitable for this position you will have previous experience of managing Solaris and Redhat systems, as well as SUN Servers / Dell Servers and Netapp Storage systems. You will be responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining UNIX based clients and servers. In addition to your Red Hat and Solaris experience, any further skills with VMWare and database (MySQL and/or Postgress) administration will be highly beneficial.

    This position is paying a salary of £35,000 + £2500 on call allowance. There will be a Monday to Friday shift pattern of 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm and 10am-6pm; as well as a requirement to work 1 in 3 Saturdays. Being based in the Goole area of East Riding of Yorkshire / Humberside it is essential that you have a full UK driving licence.
