Software Test Analyst

A successful IT company that has been operating for over 15 years is looking to recruit an experienced Tester into their development team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation that has an established client base across multiple industries and offers good career progression.

The successful candidate will be tasked with proving the quality of newly developed software, upgrades to existing products and / or customer deployments. This is achieved through usability & requirements meetings, producing testing documentation, testing changes to code & affected areas as well as ensuring that the software passes regression tests.

In order to be suitable for this role you must have previous experience working in a Test Analyst, Application Test Engineer, Tester, Software Quality Assurance Engineer or similar position. It is essential to have a passion for verifying the quality of applications as well as a working knowledge of SQL / SQL Server. The organisation is focussed on excellent customer service so the ideal candidate will have user support experience or a proven track record in understanding the user's perspective. An ISEB / ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing qualification will be beneficial, but not essential.
