  • A leading international IT company is currently looking for a Senior Windows Administrator/Windows Technical Specialist for its office in central Bedfordshire.

    As a customer facing IT professional you will be required to provide expertise for day to day operations for company services. This will involve providing a high level of technical consultancy to both internal and external parties as well as dealing with issues arising from the 1st and 2nd line support teams.

    This is a broad role within a highly technical environment and other duties will include:
    - Providing out of hours support
    - Maintenance, management and configuration of system environments and applications
    - Installation of both company and third party products
    - Capacity and availability planning
    - Providing technical consultancy on Windows Server 2003/2008, Citrix, VMWare, Active Directory.

    In order to be considered for this position, you must satisfy the following criteria:
    - An IT professional with a high level of communication, organisation and customer service skills
    - Technical expertise in Windows server builds, Citrix, VMWare and storage technologies
    - Good working knowledge of Active Directory and Domain servers
    - Happy to work on a shift pattern - Monday - Friday (08:00 to 16:30 and 09:30 to 18:00)
    - Holder of a valid UK driving licence as working from other sites may be required occasionally
