Senior Service Desk Analyst

  • Our client is a large professional services firm with a requirement to add an additional Senior Support Analyst to their frontline IT support team.

    Supporting almost 3,000 users in a high-volume and fast-paced environment you will work as a specialist in Windows desktop issues, MS Office applications and Blackberry devices. You will be expected to be an expert in these applications and able to understand and resolve a variety of 1st & 2nd level technical and functional issues, closing a high volume of calls on a daily basis.

    The business has migrated to Windows 7 and Office 2010, so experience in supporting these versions is essential, coupled with a good working knowledge of user administration in Active Directory.

    Your customer service and communication skills must also be outstanding.

    As a senior member of the team you will be expected to ensure sufficient cover is on the desk at all times, monitor and report on call records in relation to SLAs and KPIs, create service desk and incident reports, work as a mentor to junior team members, work to improve performance and efficiency within the team's formal processes and act as a link between IT and the end users within the business.

    The standards and expectations of this clients are extremely rigorous - you will need to ensure your CV is flawless, well-written, concise but expansive. You need to show on your CV that your business background and stability is excellent. The most suitable candidates are likely to have previously experienced a similar background.
