This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced web developer to join a growing software house and create database-driven windows applications, mobile apps and web solutions for large corporates. The successful candidate will be responsible for the architectural structure and systems, software development methodologies, providing technical advice as well as developing & redefining business processes. This role would suit candidates looking to progress their career towards Technical Designer, Technical Architect, Technical Design Authority or Development Manager roles.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have strong web application development experience with a particular focus on PHP (the organisation are currently using PHP4 & 5) and SQL Server. While PHP is the principle development language a few of their recent applications have used ASP.Net so it is essential to have a strong understanding of the .Net framework. Additional technical skills include XML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash, ActionScript, Visual Studio and AJAX. The ideal candidate will also have an interest in developing mobile or iPhone applications.
