  • This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Infrastructure Support Engineer to join a well-respected international software house that provides IT solutions to major companies. They offer an excellent working environment and a talented and sociable team.

    Please be aware that to access this site you will need to be able to drive and have your own car. It is commutable from areas including: Epsom, Leatherhead, Reigate, Gatwick, Crawley, East Grinstead, Hove and Brighton.

    The role sits within the Group IS team and will help to provide IT support across 15 offices in several countries. The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role previously providing multi-site support. A working knowledge of VoIP solutions with Cisco CallManager (CCM) and a detailed working knowledge of the SIP protocol and integration of disparate VoIP solutions would strongly support your application.

    The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will provide IT support within a Windows Server environment including Windows Administration skills and working with VMware.

    To be considered for this role you need experience in all or most of the following:

    • Cisco Associate Level qualification (or equivalent)

    • Cisco CallManager (CCM) & VoIP

    • LAN, WAN & VPN architectures

    • Knowledge of MPLS, VPLS, ADSL Internet

    • Sonicwall Security & VPN devices

    • Practical experience of administering a virtual infrastructure environment

    • Windows Server & Desktop operating Systems

    • Active Directory

    • MS Exchange

    • LAN Security Configuration & management

    There will be occasional out of hours support required and this is on a rota basis on which the entire Group IS team participates.

    • Offering a basic salary of £40-45,000 per annum plus pension, healthcare & life assurance
