  • This Technology start up is already drawing plaudits from newspapers and trade press around the world. Backed by a wealthy VC, they are urgently looking to recruit an exceptional Back-End Developer.

    A suitable candidate will have a deep knowledge of PHP and MySQL with at least 5 years associated experience. You will ensure the back-end code is flexible, efficient and well tested to ensure continued growth of the business. Also, you must be fully accustomed to working on web applications, leading a team and have a proven track record of working on commercial web applications.

    Ideally, a suitable candidate will have a good understanding of the MVC pattern, whilst also have experience of working with a large scale bespoke and/or framework-based PHP application which will adhere to this pattern. In addition, a successful candidate will have knowledge of Javascript which includes jQuery and Prototype, whilst also being familiar with source control, testing procedures and code quality.

    Skills that will be advantageous are: Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
