A successful and well-established organisation is looking to recruit a talented Coldfusion / C# Web Developer into their IT team. Reporting into the Software Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, supporting and enhancing an in-house business critical system. This role will involve maintaining and supporting numerous implementations throughout the group structure, developing enhancements, providing training, maintaining source control as well as producing technical documentation.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have experience working in a Senior Application Programmer, Lead Web Developer, Coldfusion Specialist or similar role. It is essential to have considerable Adobe Coldfusion and C# .Net (Visual Studio 2010) development skills as well as knowledge of SQL Server 2008. You will be required to understand the business objectives of the system and therefore must be able to communicate successfully with both technical and non-technical staff.
This is a senior position in a large environment with the opportunity to not only make suggestions to improve the system but also take a lead role in various projects which may include integration with Salesforce and the ongoing development of an API.
• Paying a basic salary of £35,000• Located in the Sutton Coldfield area - Birmingham, West Midlands (commutable from Staffordshire as well as parts of Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Warwickshire)
