  • A global technology business is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to
    work with a key enterprise client during the upgrade to one of their applications. As the Project Manager / Scrum Master you would sit between the customer and the software engineering team in the US.

    To secure this fixed term contract, you should have experience of managing a large Scrum / development team and be a champion of Agile working practices. As the role requires you to be in Liverpool 2 days a week and attend occasional meetings in Berkshire, it would be easiest for you to be based around the North West of England. When you are not at client site you can work from home.

    The successful candidate will have either 1st or 2nd level Scrum Master certification (CSM, CSP, PSM 1 or 2).
    They will have demonstrable experience playing the role of Scrum Master for a software development team, applying Scrum principles, practices and theory.
    They will have knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach - such as Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs etc.
    Demonstrate excellent leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, empowerment, assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency and having the ability to get the best out of an organisation.

    Knowledge of the following would be considered particularly advantageous, but not essential to securing the role:
    Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD
    Experience with techniques such as User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.

    This is a fixed term contract for 8 month and attracts a salary of up to £60,000 pro rata plus 25 days holiday, pro rata, pension and healthcare.
