  • An excellent opportunity has arrisen for a Project Manager to join a leading business in the service industry.

    Working across all aspects of the IT environment, you will need to have a strong grasp of Project Management and experience of managing a portfolio of projects within an IT department. You will be managing the full lifecycle of projects focussing on ensuring the agreed work and deliverables are completed to requirements and within agreed timescales.
    In order to be suitable you must have solid experience in Project Management, Project Planning, Financial Control, Stakeholder management and experience in leading and motivating project teams. You will be responsible for Project Management of application development and infrastructure projects e.g. ERP systems, Messaging, E Business, Web, Office Moves, VOIP systems etc. The candidate must have extensive experience of managing similar projects.

    As you will be required to work across a variety of user groups and technical teams you must have strong communication skills and the ability to build trust and relationships with stakeholders, end users and senior managers alike. As a senior member of a team you should have experience of working at a strategic level, coupled with the ability to lead meetings and present at a high level within a business.

    The ideal candidate will be Prince2 qualified and have worked as a Project Manager within the professional services industry or a similar industry.
